Our study on growth of thin film of calcium fluoride on Si(111) has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics.
Just accepted
Our latest study, a combination of transport and scanning tunnelling microscopy experiments with DFT and tight binding simulations, was just accepted in 2D Materials. ICN+T 2021
Nice presentation at ICN+T 2021 conference by our PhD student Miriam Galbiati! She gave an overview of our recent work on graphene grown on Ge(011).
Let’s travel again!
We can finally travel again! We will be at ELLETTRA, the Italian synchrotron radiation facility, 5/12 to 5/19 to run some great experiments at BACH beamline. Looking forward to it!
New publication!
By using STM, ARPES and DFT simulations we have studied the electronic properties of graphene directly grown on a traditional semiconductor.
